How we make our content
Backlink Building is published by Connectively. This page explains who owns the site, where our articles come from, how we use artificial intelligence, who is responsible for what we publish, and how to reach us. Last updated October 2026.
Who owns this site
Backlink Building is owned by Terkel, Inc., based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and published by Connectively, Terkel's expert network. Backlink Building is one of the topic-specific publications Connectively publishes; the full list is at connectively.us/publications. The site carries no advertising and is funded by Connectively.
Where our content comes from
Q&A articles. Connectively poses a question to professionals who share their expertise on Connectively. Every answer is written and submitted by the contributor. We publish selected answers under each contributor's name, title and company.
Expert articles. A professional submits an article under their own byline.
Interviews. A professional answers a series of questions about their work in writing.
How we use AI
Our Q&A articles are assembled by Connectively's automated system. For each question it selects answers from the submissions received, writes the headline, introduction, section headings and summary sections, generates the illustration, makes minor edits to answers for clarity, and publishes the article. We do not use AI to write contributors' answers or expert articles, or to invent quotes, people or credentials. Every article that contains AI-drafted text says so at the top of the article, and summary sections are labeled "Drafted with AI".
How we check contributors' answers
Every answer is written and submitted by the contributor and is checked with AI-detection tools, including Pangram, before publication. Contributors are identified by name, title and company and link to their professional profiles.
Who is responsible
Backlink Building is published by Connectively, whose editorial team is responsible for the site. The team sets the standards the automated system follows and corrects published articles. The people on the team and their roles are listed at connectively.us/team. To report an error, email corrections@connectively.us; for anything else, use the contact page.
Contributors and payment
Contributors are not paid for their answers and cannot pay to be included; some are paying subscribers of Connectively, which buys more submissions per month, not a place in an article. Selection is based on the answer, not on who submitted it or whether they subscribe. Contributors may link to their company. We do not sell links or placements.
Corrections
